Section 1. One Health – One World
The "One Health" concept in veterinary medicine was approved by the OIE / FAO / WHO triumvirate in the early 2000s. She summarized the age-old idea that the overall well-being of humans and animals is interdependent and closely related to the well-being of the ecosystems in which they exist. In the field of veterinary medicine, the concept is designed and implemented by the World Organization for Animal Health as a joint global approach to understanding and preventing real risks in order to ensure them as a single process. It is based on intergovernmental standards, world information on animal health, programs to strengthen national veterinary services, synergistic cooperation with more than 70 other international organizations, primarily FAO, WHO and those that play a key role in the interaction of humans with animals and ecosystems.
