Peoples' Friendship University of Russia named after Patrice Lumumba (RUDN University), Russian Agricultural Bank and Federal Scientific Center for Food Systems named after V.M. Gorbatov invite you to participate in the "Food quality and food safety" International Scientific Conference, which will be held from September 30 to October 2, 2024 in Moscow.
The conference aims to facilitate a constructive dialogue on current challenges, mechanisms, and prospects for innovation-driven technological development and international collaboration in the realm of food quality and safety. It serves as a platform to foster strategic partnerships between the scientific, expert, legislative, executive, public, political, business, and media communities, all aligned with the priorities of sustainable scientific-technological advancement. The conference agenda includes a plenary session, as well as specialized ses-sions and international panel discussions on diverse aspects of research pertaining to food quality and security:
• "Russia-BRICS: Ensuring Global Food Security" (with participation from the University of Brasília and the BRICS Network University) • "Russia-Kazakhstan Cooperation for Sustainable Development" (in collabo-ration with the Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University named after S. Seifullin); • "Russia-Africa: Challenges to Food Security" (Partners – University of the Gambia and Copperbelt University, Zambia)
The conference will be held in English and Russian with simultaneous interpretation.
The conference schedule is as follows: September 30th – opening ceremony and plenary discussion, international round tables, gala dinner; October 1st and 2nd – conference sessions and round tables.
Leading Russian and international experts, representatives from educational institutions, relevant government ministries and agencies, interested business representatives and public organizations, media, and young scholars and professionals are invited to attend the conference.
